RSPCA Cats & Kittens For Adoption - Keighley & Craven District
Name: MIA PLEASE GIVE HER A CHANCE
Age: 4 YEARS APPROX
Breed: DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR
SPECIAL APPEAL - Mia is a lovely girl who has been with us for over 5 months and really deserves her own home to come along soon – please give her a chance and arrange to come and meet her? She really s a lovely friendly cat
Mia came to us after her owner was having to move home and could not take her cats with her. She has been in foster care for over 5 months and has now grown in confidence and is waiting patiently for her forever home to come along. Please read what our foster carer has had to say about her below..
‘Mia has grown in confidence since she came to me and now loves to play with her toys, she will carry and chase them up and down the stairs and she also likes to hide in her play tunnel too. Mia is very friendly and very playful, I have found that she can get a little over excited when playing and would probably be suited to a home with children aged over 8 years old. Mia spends quite a lot of time sitting on the windowsill and watching what’s going on outside, we are unsure if she went outdoors in her previous home and she would need an owner who would let her decide if to venture outside or not. She is a good eater and eats everything and always wants more! I have found Mia to be very clean and always uses her litter tray. She has taken over a place on the sofa in a little bed and spends lots of her time there having lovely little naps. She gets on well with my own resident cats but we always advise careful introductions to any other resident animals and we can offer advice and tips on this. Mia, like many cats, does not like to be picked up and is not a lap cat but she likes to be stroked and to have her head tickled and lay by you.. She will make a lovely companion for someone, could that be you?’
Age: 9 MONTHS APPROX.
Breed: DOMESTIC SEMI LONG HAIR
Annie is another cat who comes to us from a multi cat household. She is only around 9 months old but she has already had two kittens! Annie would prefer a nice, quiet home with no young children where she can have lots of tlc from her owner. She hasn’t been outside very much in her previous home but she is only young and may decide to venture outdoors once she is settled in a new home. She has come out of her shell a lot since she came and is proving to be a lovely friendly cat f still a bit shy.
Age: 1 YEAR OLD APPROX.
Breed: DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR
NEW PICTURES ADDED - PLEASE GIVE KATNISS A CHANCE.
Katniss was sadly abandoned and came to us for re-homing. We are now looking for a nice new home for Katniss and you can read what her foster carer has said about her so far below..
‘Katniss has started to grow in confidence, she is very sweet and loves attention. She is starting to play and needs someone prepared to spend time with her. Katniss needs to be an only cat but she is quite happy around children, she lets you know when she has had enough attention and play. She sits looking out of the window and longs to go outdoors, a safe outside area would be essential for her. Katniss is very loving and likes to have human contact – could you offer her a new home where she has all the comforts and love she deserves?’
Age: YOUNG KITTEN
Breed: DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR
Bingo is a gorgeous, lively, playful kitten...who is just watng for her forever home ..
Bingo came to us from the Inspectorate team, she and her two siblings were the litter of a cat who were living behind a busy takeaway shop! As soon as the youngest kittens were weaned we took them into foster care and she is now the only one left for rehoming . Bingo has adapted to foster care really well and she is loving having home comforts of her own, please read what a transformation Bingo has made since she arrived with us..
‘Bingo was initially very scared and would shake and cower when you approached her - who knows what might have happened to her at such a young age, but what a transformation she has gone through . She plays in my spare bedroom and doesn’t even run away to hide when I go in to see her and even rolls on her back asking for a fuss, she really is a little sweetie. Bingo deserves a loving home after her rough start . She definitely needs someone who will spend time with her and play , cuddle etc and this will be rewarded by seeing this little kitten grow into a lovely, confident cat. A home with no children under 8years would be best for her as she can still be quite nervous with new people . She plays in my living room and is not fazed by my dogs - my JR isnt impressed by her bounciness but she will sit by my other dog and sniff her ears and leap out on her -. She is loving exploring and is curious about eveything. She did have a little kitten companian who she loved playing with but he has now been adopted so i do think she would play with another young cat once carefully introduced(she would be too much for an older quiet cat) She loves chasing the laser dot and is a bundle of energy and she enjoys a cuddle - but like most cats its on her terms ! There isnt a quiet moment when she's about, she leaps about and loves exploring... but she is fun to watch ...she will definitely bring a smile to your face ..
Bingo needs a home in a quiet area , not near any busy roads.
She will probably always be ‘miss independent’ but will also enjoy thelove and comforts in her future life. Can you give Bingo the home she deserves and needs?'
